Today's new washing machines use as much as 60% less water AND do a better job cleaning your clothes. And they're more efficient on electricity. The price tag is coming down, too, espeically with the rumored government program in the USA to give rebates/breaks on new efficient appliances like washers and dryers. Sure, its probably to stimulate the economy, but if it saves you money both now and in the long run,who really cares?
